How Donation to the Sponsor a Child in School Program Works

Donating is simple and transparent:

  1. Click the Donate button down this page. You will be redirected to the WhyDonate platform to complete your donation.

  2. Choose whether you want to sponsor a child as a one-off contribution or commit to sponsoring one or more children on a monthly basis.

  3. Set your preferred currency on the donation platform.

  4. Decide how many children you want to sponsor and take note of that number.

  5. Each child sponsorship is set at $30 per month, representing the average monthly cost of supporting a child’s schooling needs in the communities where we operate.

  6. Multiply the number of children you wish to sponsor by $30 to calculate the total monthly donation amount. For example:

    • 1 child × $30 per month = $30

    • 2 children × $30 per month = $60

    • 3 children × $30 per month = $90

    • 5 children × $30 per month = $150

  7. Enter the total donation amount in the field provided on the WhyDonate page.

  8. Adjust the slider for “Tip WhyDonate Services” to whatever you wish to offer for their services, whether 0 percent, 1 percent, or more.

  9. Click the “Next” button, fill in your name, email address, and an optional message for PASDO, then click “Next” again.

  10. On the next page, select your preferred method of donation, which may include credit or debit card, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, Amazon Pay, Crypto, or bank transfer, depending on the currency you selected.

  11. Complete your donation and receive a confirmation email.

If you are able, you are encouraged to sponsor more than one child. Sponsoring multiple children helps extend educational support to more families in need.
